Working Groups
What is a working group?
-
A working group is a collaborative team that brings together educators, industry leaders, and community partners to drive action, solve challenges, and enhance STEM education and workforce development.
-
Our six working groups each play a vital role in advancing STEM education and workforce development. Communications & Community Outreach increases STEM awareness and engagement, while Career Trajectories aligns education with workforce demands. Student STEM Access & Equity ensures inclusive opportunities for all learners. Data Management focuses on creating data-driven strategies to track, analyze, and improve STEM initiatives. The Regional STEM Learning Ecosystem supports the growth of regional STEM networks across Alabama, and Sustainability & Advancement works to secure funding and resources for long-term program success.
-
Join a working group and contribute at your level! Whether as an active participant, contributor, or advisor, your involvement helps shape the future of STEM in Alabama.
